The Flyest Sartorialisto

Fader style editor and designer/stylist Mobolaji Dawodu got hailed on The Sartorialist today. We have a desperate unrequited crush on him admired his hodgepodge of Lagos-meets-Brooklyn style for sometime now and salute Scott Schuman, for always knowing a good thing when he sees one.

This is the second time in as many weeks that one of our comrades (we saw you William, and thanks for NOT returning our calls punk!) has graced Mr. Schuman’s dazzling portrait collection of fashionable world citizens.

Real recognizes real. Keep clicking color. We love it.

Oh' What A Graphic Life!

Check out this cleaver piece of marketing care of brilliant design company KISER (go brooklyn!)

This video clip/short was hinted about in the interview we did a couple months ago & shot by our secret crush filmmaker Kareem Black.

P.S. Now we've seen this company do it's thing for ah-deen now, so shame on us; but could somebody tell us if it's pronounced kiss(er) or ki-zer (like the roll)????

P.S.S. Kinda feeling that pleather git up...

Here Comes the Sun...MORE LRG 2008 FALL PHOTO SHOOT

While we usually don’t like to report strictly on parties, last Thursday is an exception. Why? Cause Streetwear giant L-R-G & our favorite photographer extraordinaire, Kareem Black hosted one of their trademark photo shoot/party extravaganzas.

My big brother worked his magic and somehow we made it past the not so nice- but still very cute- girl at the door to hobnob with the cool kids.

I lost my pink Casio camera that night (So I can’t show you the classic photo of me & KB flexing our guns- but trust when I tell you dude is STRRRRONG!)

Never fear tho, my bro Brent from Socialist always brings his own Paparazzi. Seriously, my dude rolls with two personal photographers. SERIOUSLY.

KB & that strange but loveable Village Slum guy have got some great shots as well.

Welcome to Summer.

Sweet (face) Cheeba

Our favorite lopsided afro, word maker-upper, superb drinking buddy, and Designer-SLASH-Renaissance man releases his new jammies (We think he's got that word trademarked) just in time for summer.

Yup... We can see ya'll already... at the Puerto Rican Day Parade, thinking you cute. tisk tisk tisk.

Sunday Best

It's been said, and I do concur - Clothes make the man.

While light skin ain't really our thing, Terrance Howard-in a suit-gets many a panty wet around the office.
Rapper Consequence knows his denim (and dudes footwear is crazy).
Common's frame is perfect for any tailored look he chooses to flex.
Will Smith has his good days and even sweet pants Ryan Searcrest can put something decent together.
But these are celebrities. They should be tight.

So in the spirit of my everyday "so fresh and so clean" bredren, the dope boys who would scour the ends of the earth (i.e. a dank basement in China Town) for the rarest of Dunks, the mighty few who know where "all the hot Lo gear is at", meet Socialist Brand Apparel.

My fam over at Socialist swears that their concept streetwear gear will finally have your beard growing in evenly.

Socialist is that new-new...and now you know.

A little birdie told me that WORLD NYC just got the Re-Up. This batch comes in lemon yellow, cream and baby blue. Ooooooowe!

Now, dust the Wallies off and let 'em know how to do summer!
